Reverend Judith question and answer session

On Tuesday 25th, Pine class were pleased to welcome reverend Judith for a questions and answers session. The class started the term observing features of Plymtree church of St. John the Baptist and learning about the importance of St. John in Christianity.  From their observations and what they have learnt, the pupils generated many questions they wished to discover more about – some questions included: “why did John the Baptist start baptising people?”, “how many reverends have there been?”, and “why is our church named after St. John the Baptist?”. Reverend Judith kindly answered these questions, and inspired discussion between the pupils to take our enquiry further. We would like to thank the reverend for giving up her time to attend, and for helping us answer our questions.
