On Wednesday January 18th Pine were visited by Claire and Trudy from Lloyds Bank. It was an informative visit where the children learnt about debit interest and credit interest and how it is far better to save than borrow. The children were encouraged to ask questions about their spending and saving and were given paired tasks when they were given opportunities to focus on how to manage their money and to be accurate with their calculating when shopping. This was a hugely beneficial experience for all the children (and staff). Pine class were engaged and fascinated by the presentation. Thank you so much to Claire McCandlish for organising this valuable opportunity for the children.
